Roy Lewis began his Architectural career with GBA in 1975 as a summer intern. For 13 years prior to rejoining the firm, he was a principal in his own practice. Roy is the partner-in-charge for work with the Northside ISD, the Judson ISD, and the University of Texas. Among  his credits are several elementary schools, middle schools, and the Judson Performing Arts Center, recognized by educators and professionals alike, for it’s acoustic qualities. His recent projects include the complex addition and renovation of Rayburn Middle School which involved the construction of a new 54,000 s.f. addition along with the renovation of two existing buildings while the campus was still occupied.


He is actively involved in the American Institute of Architects, the Texas Society of Architects, he is a residing member on the Council of Educational Facilities Planners International for Central Texas - South Chapter Board of Directors, and a member of the St. Philip’s College Architectural & Interior Design Programs Advisory Committee
